The Platform Software Team is responsible for developing infrastructure software services required by our proprietary software which provides 5G/4G/3G/2G services for mobile providers worldwide.

We are looking for a hands-on Sr. SW engineer for design and implementation a cloud-native vRAN solution to be deployed at the operators’ edge cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Must have strong communication skills, must be an effective team player, and be able to work independently in a global multi-site environment.
• Ability to translate communication standards/specification to efficient implementation.
• Experience in C/C++ development in the context of embedded systems.
• Proficient in design, documentation, implementation, debugging and unit testing of software components of a multi-threaded real-time/embedded system.
• Practical experience and knowledge of Linux architecture and Kernel drivers
• Knowledge and experience with DPDK (including CRYPTODEV)
  
  

Requirements:

• Working experience in Docker, operating K8s based and cloud native deployments.
• Working experience in virtualized environment with hands-on experience on Linux/KVM Hypervisors and Open Stack, VMware
• Working experience in Python, Ansible, terraform and Shell Scripts
• Working experience in operating, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
• Working experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration and networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, network topologies) – must
• Working experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, Ruby, or shell scripting – advantage
• working experience in cloud native platform like AWS EKS & GCP GKE – advantage
• Working experience of REST/SOAP API
• Knowledge in wireless communication and familiarity with one of the cellular standards, i.e. 2G/3G/LTE/LTE-Advanced/5G-NR – advantage
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a global multi-site environment
