As part of the Optical Assembly Process Engineer team, you become part of the NVIDIA R&D team, and you will be working on the forefront of the communication technology, building the interconnection infrastructure for the Sophisticated Computing and Artificial Intelligence revolution.

What You'll Be Doing

• Project Manager: As the overseer of the Jigs program for Optical Interconnect products, you will collaborate closely with a team of mechanical designers. Your primary responsibility will encompass steering the Jig program for each product, commencing from the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) phase and extending through manufacturing completion. You will also be tasked with testing the functionality of the jigs. Moreover, as the program advances, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the jigs on the production line to facilitate mass production.
• Jigs Design: In this capacity, you will be engaged in designing for jigs essential to process development and specialized experiments. These jigs will be seamlessly integrated into advanced process platforms utilized within the process development laboratory. They will find application in processes such as BGA (Ball Grid Array) processing, wire-bonding, precision micro-assembly, and active alignment bonding procedures.
• Troubleshooting Machine Issues: A significant facet of your role involves acquiring proficiency in the alignment and bonding processes currently under development in the laboratory. Your contribution will entail providing support to the team by diagnosing and resolving issues that arise with the machines.
  
  

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer
• proven experience in mechanical design and issuing mechanical drawings
• proven experience in project management
• Good capability and understanding of machines and processes as well as the interface between the two
• Capability of working with machines recipes and software
• Self-management, innovation and initiator
• Superior problem-solving and presentation skills.
• Teamwork player as well as a sole worker.

• Background with the semiconductor or optical communication industry.
