Linux Specialist

Matrix is looking for an experienced Linux Specialist.

The job includes:

• Performing system tasks including installing and upgrading operating systems, applications and products, improving server performance, troubleshooting, scripting and more.
• Development of automation processes in Linux operating system environment, using Ansible
• Software setup and support of multiple Linux (physical and virtual) servers, specifically in RHEL 7.x and RHEL 8.x
• Establishment and support of Linux systems in the Veritas Cluster configuration

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience working in System / SRE team in the field of Linux infrastructure in a medium-large organization - a must.
• Knowledge and experience in set ups, maintenance and upgrading Linux RHEL 7/8 servers, Ubuntu.
• Linux products: Satellite, Open LDAP, Apache, Tomcat, Ansible, puppet - significant advantage.
• Knowledge and experience working with Ansible/Terraform.
• Knowledge and experience in supporting infrastructure: dockers, containers, K8s.
• Familiarity with Windows and VMWARE domains.
• Knowledge and experience in working with storage, backup, command and control systems and Network equipment.
• Ability to lead infrastructure projects ,including implementation and integration of computer systems in complex architectural environments
