Then this could be the right challenge for you! We are now expanding and searching for a Senior Payroll Lead.Your Job

• Manage the local payroll team (5 payroll specialists)
• Support Payroll Specialists in providing accurate and timely payrolls for more than 2000 employees.
• Ensure appropriate workload allocation, knowledge sharing and instill a culture of continuous improvement and outstanding customer service.
• Be responsible for data validation and resolving discrepancies within tight deadlines.
• Manage detailed payroll check lists and prepare for Manager review at submission, pre-approval, month end and quarter end stages.
• Manage relationships with various stakeholders and global payroll providers with focus on the accuracy and timely preparation of payroll reports.
• Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations, GL, accrual reports; support finance-payroll work interface.
• Attend to payroll specific queries from employees.
• Stay up to date with local payroll regulations.
• Support various internal and external audits.
• Responsible for statutory submissions.
• Provide payroll feedback and data when required to support ongoing HR projects and benefits;
• Actively participate in team meetings and training exercises.
• Be part of a global payroll team.

Your Profile

• 5-7 years of experience within Payroll including at least 3 years of managerial background.
• Experience from Tech industry and global companies- an advantage.
• Knowledge of local labor law.
• Excellent communication skills in English- both writing and speaking.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team member.
• Excellent interpersonal skills – treats people with respect; is approachable, open and direct; develops effective working relationships with staff at all levels.
• Ability to manage fast-paced environment.
• Ability to take ownership of payroll processes.
• Problem solving mindset and positive attitude.
• Flexible approach to work, responsibilities and deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail with good analytical and numeracy skills.
• Knowledge and Experience in bookkeeping – an advantage.
