What are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate and top-talented Cloud Architect to join our Checkmarx One architecture team. As a Cloud Architect at CheckmarxOne, you will spearhead the design and implementation of our next-generation SaaS solutions

How will you make an impact?

In this role you will be responsible for:

· Design and implement advanced cloud-based solutions, ensuring they adhere to architectural best practices.

· Lead and mentor a team of engineers and developers in cloud-native practices and patterns.

· Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide architectural guidance.

· Drive the usage of AWS best practices, ensuring we leverage the latest services and features.

· Collaborate with the DevOps and CI/CD teams, ensuring the seamless integration and deployment of cloud-native solutions.

· Conduct architectural reviews, identifying bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

· Stay updated with the latest trends in cloud technologies, advocating and implementing where beneficial.

What is needed to succeed?

Required qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.

· 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions.

· Profound understanding of cloud-native technologies, principles, and patterns.

· Hands-on experience with AWS, with a preference for AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Advanced Networking).

· Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) and its ecosystem.

· Hands-on experience with AWS, with a preference for AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Advanced Networking)

· Strong communication skills, with the capability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
