Chief Accountant

WHO WE ARE:

Esko (AVT product line) is a high-tech company that develops and manufactures automatic quality control systems for the printing industry, located in Kfar Saba.

We are looking for a Senior Accountant for a full-time position to join a successful team with a great atmosphere and global activities as part of a successful American corporation.

The position offered is within the company's finance department as a member of the accounting and bookkeeping team and includes work with suppliers, banks, fixed assets, employee expense reports, monthly reports and ongoing work including working closely with various parties in the US and Europe.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

Establishes and maintains general accounting reporting and practices for the organization. Improves processes and controls in the organization. Compiles and analyse financial information to prepare and/or review necessary journal entries for properly stated ledgers and financial statements in accordance with regulations (e.g., US GAAP) and company policy. May perform bookkeeping or account management duties. Includes accounts payable, cost accounting, cash management, taxes, etc.

In addition, you will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting work, which includes, among other things:

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Handle the monthly closing including managing accruals, completeness checks, full BS reconciliation and P&L analytical check
• AP – record vouchers, pay suppliers on time, submission of 856 forms, monthly reconciliation
• AR – issuing invoices, reviewing AR aging report, collection, doubtful debts calculation, monthly reconciliation
• Travel expenses check and recording
• Bank and credit card reconciliation
• Intercompany reconciliation
• Cash - managing cash, managing currencies exposure, communicating with the banks
• Managing fixed assets
• Taxes payments and reporting (VAT, Income tax)
• Preparation of tax statement including surplus expenses calculation
• Dealing with internal and external auditors and with regulatory authorities (social security audit, deduction audit & income tax audit).
  
  

• Certificate in accounting type 1+2+3 - mandatory
• +10 years of experience - mandatory
• High-level English - mandatory
• Working on ERP systems - mandatory
• High skills in Excel - mandatory
• Team player, strong attention to detail and good analytical skills, overall view, ability to work under pressure and excellent interpersonal skills - mandatory
• Previous experience in an international company – mandatory
• Self-starter, high motivation – mandatory
• Eager and able to improve processes – mandatory
• Working with Ram Nihul - mandatory
• Experience in US GAAP – an advantage
• Motivation and desire to learn and progress.
