Clinical Development Student (Biomedical Engineering Intern)

Edwards Lifesciences is the global leader in patient-focused medical innovations for structural heart diseases. We are looking for a talented student to join the R&D clinical development team to support and take a role in developing new technologies for mitral and tricuspid valve repair.What you’ll do:

• The role mainly involves hands-on laboratory work – performing interventional cardiology procedures in ex-vivo and in-vivo (animal trials) settings, including using all available imaging modalities (x-ray, ultrasound, CT).
• Execution /support of ex-vivo experiments, analyze data, document and clearly convey data results
• Research of professional medical literature

• 3rd or 4th year BSc Biomedical engineering student / 3rd year BSc animal science student / any year veterinary student
• Technical oriented and good 3D perception
• Independent with self-learning ability
• Full proficiency in MS office
• Fluent English (oral and written)
• Available for at least 50% position (Flexibility to increase hours during academic vacations)
