R&D Technician

We are looking for a talented R&D Technician to join our innovative medical device company.

What will you do?

You will be responsible for lab testing activities, such as:

• Fabricate and build Prototypes – weld, screw, glue, cut, etc. (handles, shafts, and implants)
• Performing hands-on Tests, assembling under the microscope
• Data collection, reports writing, equipment qualification, and additional R&D support
• Developing new test systems and improving existing test systems together with R&D teams
• Working with vendors
  
  

• High school diploma
• Practical Engineer diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (an advantage)
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in technical environments with a microscope (including military experience)
• Good English
• Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Word and Excel
• The job will require participation in animal studies from time to time
• Adhesive experience- an advantage
• Leaser welding experience - an advantage
