Electrical Engineer in the R&D Team

Role Description

This is a full-time role in the R&D Team at ZOOZ Power. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Characterization and accompaniment of internal development projects and work with subcontractors.

Design execution and support of power energy storage systems and operation of electric motors, drivers, and inverters including all electromechanical auxiliary systems with different sensors

Conduct hands-on bench testing and debugging of analog and digital hardware.

Execution of electrical diagrams, integration and debugging.

Failure investigations and Prototypes debugging.

Plan and perform certification tests.

You will work with professionals from various fields - Mechanics, Software and System.

Qualifications

• B.sc in Electrical engineering or a related field
• 5 years of experience in the field.
• Experience in designing and drawing electrical schemes.
• Experience in designing test equipment, cables, and electromechanical assemblies.
• Hands-on experience in the assembly of electrical cabinets.
• Experience in running experiments and writing reports, writing characterization documents, test reports, and specifications.
• Business English including writing documents.
• Experience in POWER ELECTRONICS - an advantage
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Proficient in using electrical design software and tools
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience in the EV industry is a plus
