SQL Database Administrator

This is a full-time remote role for a Senior SQL Database Administrator. The Senior SQL Database Administrator will be responsible for managing SQL Server databases, performing database administration, troubleshooting, designing databases, and implementing replication.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service and ensure customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals
• Plan and implement a backup strategy
• Design and troubleshoot HA & DR solutions
• Optimize and tune database performance
• Participate in business development and product development by identifying opportunities to expand our service offerings and provide innovative solutions
• Share knowledge with the team and the community

To be successful in this role, you should have:

​

• At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Data Platform, including SQL Server Database Engine and Azure SQL Database & Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Experience with HADR, Maintenance, Performance Tuning, and Troubleshooting.
• Fluent in Hebrew and English (read, write, and speak).
• This position is open to current or past residents of Israel only.

Preferred Qualifications:

​

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• High level of knowledge and experience in the Microsoft Data Analysis Platform, including:
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Azure Data Factory
• Power BI
• Azure NoSQL Data Platforms (Databricks, Azure Data Explorer, etc.)
