Role Description

Looking for a talented Hands-On VP of R&D who is an expert in the world of AI, video management, and Real-Time embedded systems, with vast experience in startups/corporates and management.

This is a full-time hybrid role (work from home is acceptable) and you'll be working directly with the CTO.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day development, hands-on building of the product from it's core, and team management from all ends of the development process.

Qualifications:

• Expertise in video management and video transmission including specialty with WebRTC, live streaming, VoD, working with cameras, IP/RTSP
• Extensive experience with AI technologies, including open-source models (like Llama 3 or Mistral) and API services like OpenAI APIs, and a deep understanding of leveraging large language models, RAG
• Vast experience in working with RT embedded systems, proficient in C++ and python
• Management skills, working with and in a team, a "we" spirit, and a strong sense of winning

Additional required skills:

• RESTful APIs and integration with node.js and python (Flask)
• Working with web sockets and real-time communication
• Experience in working with Kubernetes, docker, Kafka
• Some understanding of computer vision models
