Our Cloudinary Next group is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer, a proficient 3D Rendering Specialist with deep expertise in 3D rendering technologies and 3D web applications. In this role, you will act as our in-house subject matter expert, playing a critical role in shaping our future web-based applications and creating realistic e-commerce experiences for the end-user.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop web-based applications using Three.js and related technologies.
• Design, implement, test, and integrate new components and technologies into the rendering pipeline.
• Collaborate with designers, artists, and other developers to create visually appealing and interactive 3D experiences.
• Optimize 3D rendering performance for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends in 3D rendering, acting as a subject matter expert and knowledge source within the company.
• Actively contribute to the strategic direction of our 3D services, helping to define and influence our technology roadmap
  
  

• Demonstrated expertise in 3D rendering algorithms and techniques
• 5+ years of experience in web-based 3D graphics development using Three.js or similar frameworks
• Proficiency in WebGL/OpenGL/GLSL and other web-based 3D rendering technologies, and experience in optimizing these for high performance across different platforms.
• Solid experience in using popular 3D software, such as Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya, and familiarity with real-time rendering engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your advanced 3D rendering skills and your ability to solve complex 3D problems
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
