Operations Student for RMA & Service Processes

Job Title: Operations Student – Service Department

Reporting to: Director of Service Operations and Customer Relations

Responsibilities – RMA Process Handling
Coordinate product returns, replacements, and repairs with the production team, vendors, and manufacturers
Ensure timely and efficient processing of returned materials (RMAs)
Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of all RMA transactions
Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to identify and resolve recurring issues
Support QA in expediting RMA-related investigations and resolutions
Assist in managing the service department’s inventory and parts availability
Respond to customer inquiries and provide updates on RMA status
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP systems (Priority – an advantage)
Strong self-learning and problem-solving skills
Availability for at least 3–4 workdays per week
Education
Bachelor’s degree student in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering & Management, or a related field
Experience and Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Positive, “can-do” attitude and willingness to take initiative
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Technological affinity and comfort working with technical systems
Additional Information
The role may involve occasional physical tasks
Requires flexibility for extended working hours on weekdays
Work is based at Orbit’s headquarters in Netanya
