NVIDIA is looking for Hardware Engineer for our System Product Engineering group. The candidate will take full responsibility for networking systems’ production support engineering matters. The position requires an understanding of hardware, firmware/software, mechanical integration, and manufacturing. The candidate will supervise Production support engineering activities in a few contract manufacturing lines, working closely with groups across the networking organization: Hardware/Software/Firmware R&D, Architecture, Test Engineering, Quality & Reliability, and Operations groups. The candidate will take part in direct communications with NVIDIA internal and external groups. The position provides an opportunity to gain deep knowledge of NVIDIA networking systems and a system-level view of our solutions, along with working in dynamic and positive environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the Production Product Engineering activities in Israel manufacturing sites and being the point of contact for local and global production support
- Leading production infrastructure & jigs functionality, support stability and quality with no production holds
- New equipment installation and leading the validation process for new infrastructure established and providing technical support
- Perform troubleshooting, provide root cause analysis and Initiate design improvements and documentation with our R&D, Engineering, and operations groups to achieve continuous improvement
- Define, characterize maintenance plan, routines, and monitoring processes and implementation on production lines
- Establish, train, and maintain a robust production infrastructure support process to enable test manufacturing full independence
- Drive the CM to full independence and responsibility
- Manage revision control and implementations of our ATE stations
- Monitoring our KPI and performing Analysis of ATE yield performance to generate plans for cost-saving
- Jigs mechanical calibrations and analyze repetitive issues
- Define thermal validation for HASS/BURN-IN chambers, solve thermal problems, and definition of preventive maintenance.
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of practical experience with multidisciplinary systems
- Strong problem-solving and prioritization ability
- Network, Linux command, and windows experience
- System information basic knowledge
- Strong presentation and an interpersonal skills
- Fast and Self-Learner
- Excellent English, verbal, and written communication skills
- Statistics and yield data analysis background
- Experience in mechanical jigs' design/support/maintenance
- Hands-on experience: Test stations/test program debug experience
- Ability to demonstrate experience in creative problem-solving skills, out of the box thinking
