Senior Electrical Engineer

Novocure is a global medical device company with R&D based in Haifa. The company is growing quickly as it commercializes TTFields therapy: a novel treatment for aggressive cancers using alternating electric fields.With the potential and abilities of the device and technology, we are focus on developing the new generation of the device and its components.W e are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer who will join the engineering team with their effort to develop the next generation of our treatment and experimental systems.The position is full time, based in our Haifa office, Israel ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for new electronics hardware, creating schematics and PCB design in Altium.
• Support and review electronic design of other team members
• To analyze user needs, identify required work, and lead hardware requirement specification process
• To perform in conjunction with the cross-functional development team to ensure the system meets operational requirements.
• Involve in digital and software requirements definition.
• To conduct hands-on bench testing and debugging of analog and digital hardware.
• Responsible for generating the required data for the transfer to the manufacturing of the electronics of NovoCure's devices.
• Responsible for the assembly of prototypes of NovoCure's devices under design and development.
• Support the verification and validation process of NovoCure's devices.
• Verify that the electronics design complies with medical/applicable standards defined for each project.
• To collaborate with other engineers, managers and Product Management teams to develop innovative solutions meeting market needs.
• Maintain knowledge of electronics engineering trends and new technology

• 15 years of development experience in HW development for multidisciplinary systems
• Board design using Altium.
• Analog Front End design
• Power Electronics
• Basic Firmware/Embedded SW capabilities & experience with ST microcontrollers
• Team player – project success is a whole team success.
• Fast learning self-expedite.

• Experience in Medical Company
• Background in Cellular, WI-FI, BT and Sub GHz RF
• Experience in Low Power, Battery operated systems
