Quality Automation Engineer- Mobile

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile QE to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile application testing(iOS and Android), focusing on planning, testing, and executing test cases and automated test scripts. The Mobile QE will collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of test strategies and test plans for mobile applications.
• Identify and implement improvements to the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects.
• Verify bug fixes and track the resolution of reported issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications.
• Implement and execute automated test suites to ensure mobile applications' functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Create and maintain documentation related to test scripts, test cases, and testing processes.
• Provide training and support to other team members on testing best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and quality assurance, to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Participate in sprint planning and review meetings to provide input on testing strategies and timelines.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor’s in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or proven experience.
• Proven experience in QE or similar roles, focusing on mobile application testing.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Kotlin, Swift, or Python.
• Experience with mobile automation testing tools/frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies, test planning, and test case design.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Highly motivated, long-term vision, self-driven, mission-oriented personality for solving problems
