Senior Networking Researcher

The networking architecture & research team seeks a highly-skilled, leading architects & researches to join our team and help shape the future of data center networking.

What You'll Be Doing

• Research networking workloads end to end, finding opportunities for improvements across SW, FW & HW, running on models or existing products
• Develop proof of concepts for new capabilities on top of existing products
• Architect new features for next generation hardware products aimed to improve the performance of our DPU and NIC products.
  
  

What We Need To See

• Bachelor, Master or PHD (advantage) degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science fields from a known institute. Knowledgeable in computer architecture and networking
• Proven ability on application driven hardware & system analysis for optimizing performance, performance per power and performance per area with at least 5+ years of experience
• Proven ability to drive performance optimizations E2E, taking into consideration HW, FW and SW development, deep understanding of HW architecture and microarchitecture
• Hands on programming (C, Kernel or User Space) and scripting (Python) for programming models and running workloads for research
• Familiar with data center networking & storage workloads (advantage)
• Familiar with RDMA or NVMe (advantage)
• Knowledge in Linux & user space stacks such as DPDK or SPDK (advantage)
• Knowledge in developing modelling environments for networking or SoCs (advantage)
• Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and social skills.
