As a UX Writer at Viber you will be approaching design through the lens of language. Come join our Product Design team as a strategic role of a solo UX Writer to create and shape great, intuitive products and services used by millions of people around the world every day. You’ll be writing for product flows, new features, in-product language, navigation, product naming and more. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on our dynamically evolving product. You will collaborate daily with product managers, design, research, marketing and localization to take products from conception to launch ensuring consistency and excellence in our product's voice and tone.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in UX Writing for B2C products
Examples of wireframes, or design mocks co-authored using design tools
Experience in simplifying and communicating complex ideas to broad audiences in a compelling way
Strong understanding of UX principles and how copy impacts user experience
Experience in developing and maintaining writing Style-guide
Demonstrated experience leading projects with minimal direction and handling a large degree of ambiguity
Hands on Gen AI experience for UX writing or demonstrating a strong willingness to learn and implement these tools
Experience in UX research methodologies - an advantage
Familiarity with multiple languages (Russian, Ukrainian, Greek, Filipino and more) - an advantage

Responsibilities:

Lead the creation of clear, compelling and user-centric in-product language to help our users meet their goals
Full ownership of UX writing tasks, from concept to completion
Ensure consistency in voice and tone across all user touchpoints
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Research and Localization teams to improve work processes and ensure cohesive messaging
Develop and maintain a comprehensive writing Style-guide
Utilize AI tools to enhance and the writing process
Conduct user research and testing to validate the effectiveness of copy
Create or contribute to high-fidelity design mockups using Figma
Partner with our internationalization team to ensure product experiences are of the highest quality in every language
