Head of Procurement

AHAVA is seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Procurement to lead all procurement activities across the organization. Reporting directly to the COO, this role is responsible for defining and executing the company’s procurement strategy, optimizing costs, managing global supplier relationships, and leading the procurement team to support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Full responsibility for all company procurement activities, strategic and operational.
• Develop and lead the organizational procurement strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct spend analysis and lead cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and commercial optimization processes.
• Manage complex commercial negotiations locally and internationally and execute annual framework agreements.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers, including risk management and diversification of supply sources.
• Manage and evaluate supplier performance (KPIs): quality, service, on-time delivery, financial stability, etc.
• Improve payment terms, secure annual turnover rebates, and optimize minimum order quantities (MOQ).
• Lead sourcing processes and long-term supplier engagements.
• Support new product development processes and introduce innovation through suppliers and partnerships.
• Manage and develop a team of buyers, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and goal setting.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process from requisition to goods receipt at company warehouses.
• Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and ERP system management of procurement data.
• Manage import and international shipping operations, including work with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders: Operations, Production, Finance, Quality, R&D, and Marketing.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, procedures, and relevant quality standards.
• Manage the procurement budget and ensure ongoing performance monitoring against targets.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field- mandatory.
• Master’s degree - significant advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement management within medium to large organizations, preferably in manufacturing companies.
• Proven experience in leading complex negotiations and delivering measurable cost savings.
• Experience managing teams.
• Experience working with ERP systems - mandatory.
• Familiarity with the cosmetics and packaging industries - an advantage.
• Knowledge of international shipping and import regulations -significant advantage.
• Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making ability.
• High level of English proficiency- mandatory.
