- Manage cross-functional teams to deliver project deliverables per specifications and schedule; set priorities and resolve conflict among functions.
- Manage all aspects of projects, including risk, schedule, and quality, both in-house and outsourced.
- Leading interdisciplinary teams in a matrix organization, responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of all the areas of performance, planning, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction
- Accountable for all phases of the Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM) process and Product Launch Process (PLP), including:
- Project scope management
- Project schedule and production
- Tracking and reporting and overall project status
- Risk identification and mitigation plan development
- Coordinates project forums (e.g., status, boards, gate meetings, project launch plan), owns and drives follow-up on notes and action items.
- Provide pro-active communication of program status to relevant functional managers, project stakeholders and program sponsors.
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and provide change recommendations
- Customer focal point - understands the customers' business and technical needs.
- Assists the customer with ongoing implementation while mastering the technical skills and production implementation knowledge.
- Long-term and short-term project planning according to industry standards.
- Prioritizes Review of ECOs and expedites release of ECO, in the implementation cycle – Review ECOs for content completeness, customer impact (internal and external), organizational impact, and functional product impact. Determines the effect of ECOs on products and processes; adequately ascertains who needs to be included in the evaluation, disposition, assignment, definition, approval, and implementation of the ECO; routes ECOs.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred technical/engineering field)
- 3-5 years of experience in managing projects or directing cross-functional teams (preferred experience managing PLCM workflows)
- 1+ years of experience in an engineering/product environment
- NPI / PCBA / SMT / Hardware Knowledge or experience – Huge advantage.
- Strong program/project management skills & strong facilitation skills
- Experience leading diverse, high performing matrixed teams
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information that can be easily consumed by team members and leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Accreditations from Project Management organizations (advantage)
- Strong ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships on a multi-level basis.
- Good written and verbal English language communication skills.
