Verification and Validation Test Technician

The V&V Test Technician will support Novocure’s product development activities by accurately performing test procedures, identifying defects, and reporting test results. The technician role supports Design Verification, including Hardware & Software Testing. The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, experience working with measuring instruments, and experience testing medical devices. They will contribute to early prototype evaluations, test method development, design feedback to engineering teams, defect identification, and troubleshooting.This is a full-time, exempt position located in our Haifa Israel office and reports to the Verification and Validation Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, interpret , and execute test plans and test procedures.
• Provide feedback to V&V or other engineers to develop and improve test procedures
• Report test results and analysis in written reports
• Take ownership of project testing and report test status
• Promptly Report defects & anomalies found during testing and help troubleshoot issues.
• Prepare the test reports to support regulatory submissions and other project goals
• Follow Good Documentation Practices in test reports and other documentation
• Appropriately archive test data, ensuring data can be located for future review.
• Conduct qualification and validation of fixtures and software tools
• Collaborate with Novocure engineering and V&V team members in Israel and US

• Technical training or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of QA experience including product functional testing

• V&V for medical device experience is preferred
• Experience documenting anomalies found while performing tests
• Proficient with measuring instruments (e.g. calipers, DMM, oscilloscope, etc.)
• Experience with black-box software testing is a plus
• Organized and strong attention to detail, highly motivated, self-learner, and responsible
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Able to work in a team environment and execute responsibilities with minimal direct supervision
• Critical thinking and decision making, including the ability to recognize when to ask questions
• Understanding of fundamental engineering concepts, basic principles is a plus
