The company established a global nurseries network comprised of five sites in Israel and six joint venture nurseries in Turkey, Italy, South Africa Bulgaria, France and Bosnia. Hishtil is constantly developing unique technologies and production protocols to keep up with the ever-changing market demands.

This is a full-time on-site role for an Agronomist located in Ashkelon. The Agronomist will be responsible for tasks such as soil science analysis and management, agriculture coordination and management, irrigation and fertigation development and coordination, research on the improvement of plant growth and quality. The Agronomist will also be in charge of creating goals, developing strategies, implementing protocols and training colleagues on best practices.

• Expertise in Soil Science, Agriculture and Plant Nutrition
• Excellent knowledge and experience in Irrigation
• Proven experience in Research and analysis, mainly in growing plant's density, quality and capacity
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to create and implement goals and strategies
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field
• Knowledge of Hebrew and English
• Experience in Sage, SAP or other ERP systems - an advantage
