Senior System Engineer and Project Manager

A leading international technology corporation in the electronics and semiconductor industry is establishing a new R&D site in Yokneam, Israel.
We are seeking a Senior System Engineer and Technical Project Manager to play a key role in building and leading the development of complex, multidisciplinary systems from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the definition of system architecture and end-to-end technical requirements for complex multidisciplinary products.
• Own system requirements throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept and feasibility to NPI and mass production.
• Serve as the primary technical interface with customers, deeply understand customer needs, translate them into clear system definitions, and ensure alignment throughout development.
• Drive multidisciplinary development efforts involving hardware, software, mechanics, and manufacturing.
• Matrix-manage global functional teams including EE, ME, SW, QA, and operations.
• Manage full project cycles, including planning, execution, risk management, milestones, and delivery.

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related engineering field.
• 7+ years of experience in system engineering and technical project management of complex multidisciplinary products.
• Proven experience developing a multidisciplinary system from scratch, including hardware, software, and mechanical components.
• Strong engineering background, with a significant advantage for candidates who grew from hardware-oriented roles.
• Hands-on experience in system architecture definition and requirements analysis.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with customers, including requirements gathering, system definition, and technical decision-making based on customer needs.
• Global work experience, including collaboration with international R&D teams and customers.
• Experience working with manufacturing and NPI processes, including at least 2 years supporting product manufacturing.
• Experience working with manufacturing partners in East Asia, a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and interpersonal.
• Strong project leadership capabilities in a matrix environment.
• Very high level of English, written and spoken.
