Purpose of the Role:

Commercial Finance Manager, DBC partners with Diageo Beer Company commercial team and functions to drive business performance through the provision of financial / commercial expertise and insights and to own the delivery of financial targets within an effective control environment.

Top Accountabilities

Deliver robust business performance management process to ensure delivery of all relevant financial metrics.
Deliver a robust governance and control environment and an effective risk management agenda.
Provide support in formulating business strategy and converting strategies into operating plans with recommended prioritization.
Identify all critical business opportunities, risks and initiatives and provide standard process financial analysis and insights to support decision making.
Find opportunities to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of finance activities.
Support finance strategy projects.

Key Interactions

Key business partner to DBC Commercial organization, strong working relationship required with all key business leaders - Supply, Marketing, Innovation, and other parts of Finance.
Act as trusted business advisor to all members of Commercial team, actively supporting the business in improving overall performance.

Experience / skills required:

Degree educated with relevant professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA) - not necessarily a qualified accountant.
5+ years of experience in a global FMCG or similar multifaceted operating environment and demonstrating commercial competence.

3 WORLD TRADE CENTER, NY: SALARY RANGE IS FROM $110,400 TO $184,000 (ANNUAL)
