Global Planning Unit is hiring Global Supply Planner

Global supply planner is a key driver in shaping Netafim supply excellence, highlighting Risks and Opportunities to Mng, optimizing local planner’s processes and providing solutions to challenges. The strategic vision, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership will be instrumental in achieving our global supply goals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Lead supply planning & supply alignment activities with Local planners and Business units.
• Managing global production planning (RCCP) while optimizing plants utilization.
• Supporting RM and Drippers planning of each production site and align optimization between sites in case of constraints.
• Supporting Mng with solutions to problems and constraints through evaluation of optimized scenarios and alternatives.
• Serve as key function in the S&OP process, supporting regional supply meetings, validating local planners output to S&OP process .
• Setting up workplans and optimization objectives for follow up and integration vs. the subsidiaries, in line with individual markets' goals.
• Integrating between the various functions of global planning: production, inventory, procurement, engineering and finance.
• Supporting integration of production and inventory management systems with local planners.
• Managing processes and products with global supply constraints – communication, allocations, priority setting.
• Serve as contact point for information on business planning scenarios and identifying business risks and opportunities for optimized results. 

Requirements and qualifications:

• B.Sc in Industrial Engineering and Management (MA degree – a plus)
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in the field of Supply planning activities
• Experience in a global organization planning process implementation.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel 
• Experience with SAP ERP systems. 
• Training and presentation skills is a must.  
• Excellent human relations and the ability to lead & Implement planning processes.    
• Detail oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills. 
• Ability to work under continual deadline constraints.    
• Fluent English.
• Experience with reporting to Mng including costing implications and supply commitments.
