BPMS Automation Engineer

Design and develop complex backend automation drivers for telecom test equipment, including (but not limited to):
Amarisoft UE Simulator
Channel Emulators
Traffic Generators
Additional RF, network, and protocol-based test equipment
Build and own an automation infrastructure from scratch, including:
Core frameworks and libraries
Abstraction layers for test writers
Reusable APIs and services
Define and implement a high-level abstraction model that allows automated test writers to focus on test logic rather than low-level equipment control.
Technically lead and mentor a team of Python automation developers based in India:
Provide architectural guidance
Perform design and code reviews
Drive best practices and coding standards
Collaborate closely with validation, system, and test teams to translate complex test requirements into scalable automation solutions.
Take ownership of system reliability, performance, and maintainability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Travel frequently to work with remote teams and align on architecture, execution, and delivery.

Strong experience in Python development, with a focus on backend systems and automation frameworks.
Proven experience building automation infrastructure or frameworks from scratch.
Hands-on experience developing drivers or interfaces for test equipment (TE), simulators, or hardware-controlled systems.
Solid understanding of software architecture, abstraction layers, and scalable system design.
Experience technically leading or mentoring developers in a distributed or offshore team.
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and make architectural decisions.
Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort working in complex, evolving environments.
Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently.

Advantages:

Background in telecom, RF, networking, or protocol testing.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated test execution environments, and infrastructure tooling.
Familiarity with simulation tools, traffic generation, or channel emulation systems.
Experience working in global, cross-cultural engineering teams.
