Optical sub-system integration and development

•    Building, refining, adjusting, calibrating the system for optimal performance of single biomolecule fluorescence detection experiments in our platform. 
•    Construction of custom optical setups in the optical lab
•    Data analysis and troubleshooting is expected to be part of the routine activities
The optical system includes lasers, filters, optical components, precision opto-mechanical components and image acquisition cameras.

•    BsC in Engineering, Physics or Equivalent Practical experience in related industry
•    Minimum of 2 years of experience with designing and prototyping imaging/microscopy related optical systems, particularly for fluorescence applications
•    Deep understanding of optical components specifications, and ability to build and troubleshoot based on a design, integrate and operate optical setups in the lab
•    Self-motivated with strong communication skills, ability to work in a highly multidisciplinary technical team and work with sub-contractors

Desired Skills
•    Experience with precision alignment and positioning systems 
•    Experience in life science instrumentation / diagnostics systems and measurement equipment development for life science
