What you'll bring

• 10+ years’ experience designing and leading architectural efforts for web, software or mobile applications
• Expertise in FinTech and how technology can be used to solve problems (expertise in the Small Business finance space - a plus)
• Experience with cloud, SaaS, big data, or analytics and machine learning
• Boundaryless leadership experience: applying the nuances of influencing based on the situation, knowing when to push and when to ease, driving through designs, ideas, and roadmaps.
• Seasoned and ambidextrous leadership - able to balance short and long, inspire and coach
• Excellent communication skills: demonstrated ability to present to all levels of leadership, including executives
• Experience in conceptualizing, launching, and driving business and product strategies and multi-year roadmaps
• Expertise in modern technology stacks, API design, microservices, public cloud, and designing for resilience and operational excellence
• Expertise in Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
• BS/MS in computer science, or equivalent work experience
  

• Provide architectural and people leadership across a number of interdependent engineering teams, architects, systems and offerings.
• Influence the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems. Drive system and platform thinking within development teams
• Be the technical expert, researching, evaluating, and implementing state-of-the-art technology (open source, third party)
• Bring deep Payments and Fintech domain expertise and lead the teams through innovation
• Key member of the team in regards to representing technology-driven opportunities and implications of various business and offering strategies and tactics
• Strong technical documentation and presentation skills to communicate architectural and design options, educating development teams, business users, and senior leadership
• Act as an industry thought leader, continuing to share Intuit’s growth story as one of the top SaaS, data-driven, and cloud deployed companies on the web
• Build strong teams - set and evangelize vision, facilitative leadership, attract and retain key talent. Talent steward for the engineering organization, mentor rising leaders.
