Game Economy Manager

A gaming company, building the next generation of multiplayer gaming and bringing players together face to face in the most realistic way, is looking for a Game Economy Manager to join the team!

As the Game Economy Manager, you will be responsible for designing and managing the in-game economy. You will also manage and track the user experience using behavioral insights, mathematical models, simulations and data analysis.

To put it simply: you'll be responsible for making the game more fun and increasing community engagement.
The ideal person for this position is curious by nature, loves problem-solving, is a team player with great communication skills, and is a self-starter.

Responsibilities:

✔ Designing economic game features to maximize user experience and optimize KPIs directly linked to the game
✔ Modeling and balancing complex systems in the game to maintain a healthy and growing in-game economy
✔ Controlling pricing in the game, for both in-game currencies and real money
✔ Working with the product and monetization teams to build and implement content and live-ops activities in the game
✔ Performing data analysis and A/B testing to keep improving game performance
✔ Pricing the game store, offers and other products
✔ Monitoring key in-game economic KPIs and maintaining a balanced economy

Requirements:

✔ 3+ years of experience in game economy
✔ Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to spot patterns and trends
✔ Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative field – MUST
✔ Excellent Excel skills – MUST
✔ SQL knowledge – MUST
✔ Knowledge of and experience with mobile / free-to-play games – BIG advantage
✔ Enjoys working with numbers, formulas and data analysis
