Role Overview: We are seeking passionate English-speaking class teachers to join our dynamic team. As a class teacher at Zarkor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our unique educational approach, which includes:​

• Bilingual Immersion: Implementing a curriculum that fosters fluency in both Hebrew and English, enhancing cognitive development and cultural awareness.
• Project-Based Learning (PBL): Engaging students in hands-on projects that promote critical thinking, creativity, and real-world problem-solving skills.​
• Co-Teaching: Collaborating with fellow educators to create a nurturing environment that balances academic rigor with personalized instruction.
• Judaic Studies as Cultural Literacy: Integrating Judaic studies to deepen students' connection to their heritage and community, fostering respect and empathy.
• Social Emotional Learning (SEL): Supporting students' emotional and social development to cultivate well-rounded individuals.​

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons aligned with Zarkor's educational philosophy.​
• Foster a bilingual learning environment that encourages language development in both Hebrew and English.​
• Collaborate with co-teachers to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects.​
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.​
• Participate actively in the school community, contributing to extracurricular activities and school events.​

Qualifications:

• Fluency in English
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.​
• Experience in bilingual education or project-based learning is a plus.​
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.​
