QC Specialist

Conducting product, components and raw materials QC tests according to predefined methods and work instructions in a strict Medical Device environment.
Operating and maintenance of some of the laboratory equipment and analytical instruments. Assist with administrative activities related to the QA activities.
Perform ongoing QC laboratory activities, and maintain and operate analytical instruments.
Responsibilities:
• Perform QC inspection including:
Incoming inspection of the various raw materials, performing tests and quality control.
In process control
Final batch release testing
• Sign on batch record
• Perform visual inspection
• Executing analytical chemistry methods on existing products and new products.
• Executing analytical methods for identifying and quantifying impurities and residues, etc.
• HPLC devices operator
• Ongoing work with the production, QA, subcontractors and external laboratories team
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work area.

Required qualifications (including education, previous training, skills and experience, whichever are applicable):
• 0–2 years of experience in a laboratory environment (GMP or GLP experience preferred).
• Basic familiarity with HPLC or other analytical instrumentation (training will be provided).
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.

Skills and Competencies:
• Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions accurately.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word)
• Willingness to learn and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Understanding of basic laboratory safety practices.
