SodaStream: Legal Counsel, Employment Law (Maternity Leave Cover)

Overview (English):

At SodaStream, part of PepsiCo, we’re looking for an experienced Legal Counsel, Employment Law to provide strategic legal guidance on employment-related matters across our business.
This is a fixed-term maternity leave cover position from November 2026 through June 2027, reporting to the Legal Director, Global Employment & Litigation. The role supports our HR teams, business leaders, and operational sites on a wide range of employment law issues.
The position is split between SodaStream's headquarters in Kfar Saba and our manufacturing site near Lehavim, with an expectation of traveling to the southern site at least once per week (there is flexibility for more working days from the southern site and fewer days from Kfar Saba).

Responsibilities (English):

Provide legal support throughout employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, employment terms, employee relations matters, disciplinary procedures, and terminations.
Advise HR and business leaders on a broad range of employment law matters, ensuring compliance while supporting business objectives.
Support and guide legal aspects of employee hearing and grievance processes, ensuring compliance with Israeli employment legislation and best practices.
Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain employment-related agreements and documentation, including separation agreements, confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, manpower agreements, and service provider engagements.
Manage employment disputes, litigation and pre-litigation matters
Lead employment law training initiatives for HR, managers, and key stakeholders to promote legal awareness and best practices.
Coordinate legal aspects of occupational health and safety matters and tort claims, including engagement with authorities, insurers, and external advisors.
Qualifications (English):

Licensed attorney in Israel
5+ years of experience as a Legal Counsel, including significant specialization and hands-on experience in employment law.
Experience gained within a leading law firm, boutique employment law practice, global corporation, or a combination of private practice and in-house environments.
Strong knowledge of Israeli labor and employment legislation and related compliance requirements.
Experience supporting recruitment processes, compensation-related matters, and diverse employment models.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in both Hebrew and English.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and deliver practical business-focused legal advice in a dynamic environment.
