Corporate Development and M&A Manager

The Corporate Development and M&A Manager will support the Company’s strategic growth, new markets and products’ entry, financing and M&A mid-long term commercial planning.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support business development activities of the Company in the water and wastewater treatment sector globally.
Support the preparation and ongoing update of the multi-year strategic plan, including market analysis, growth initiatives, and market-entry opportunities.
Support BOT tenders and project financing through techno-economic analysis, bid strategy, pricing, and lender engagement.
Source and assess M&A opportunities in the water and wastewater sector, including technology, manufacturing, and commercial businesses in target markets.
Coordinate end-to-end transaction workstreams, including due diligence, internal teams, and external advisors.
Prepare investment cases, financial models, valuations, and risk analyses for senior management and shareholders.
prepare materials for senior management and Board discussions and participate in these discussions upon requirement.

Reports to: EVP Corporate Development and M&A

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is an advantage.
5-10 years of experience in a corporate development role, investment banking, financial or management consulting. Preferably with experience in infrastructure or industry with preference to water and energy sectors.
Strong financial modeling, valuation, financial-statement analysis, market analysis, and due-diligence coordination capabilities.
Strong commercial judgment and ability to assess strategic, financial, technical, and legal considerations.
Experience in water/wastewater, infrastructure development, BOT/PPP tenders, or project finance is an advantage.
Excellent business English and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel as required.
Additional languages, particularly Spanish, is an advantage.
