Backend Developer (GenAI Engineering)

We are looking for a Backend Developer to build production-grade GenAI services for Deloitte clients, collaborating with local and global teams. You will design and develop scalable microservices, implement LLM and RAG solutions, and deliver secure, reliable deployments using modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable backend services using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript in a microservices architecture.
• Implement LLM solutions and RAG pipelines (e.g., LangChain, vector databases).
• Build and maintain REST/JSON APIs.
• Create and improve CI/CD pipelines and deploy services on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Optimize performance (parallelization, caching, vectorization) and apply production AI engineering standards and best practices.
• Work effectively with global stakeholders using tools such as Jira, Microsoft Teams, and Azure DevOps.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Python skills and deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with REST/JSON, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong English communication skills and comfort working in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Valid Israeli work permit required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Deeper, demonstrated experience delivering GenAI solutions in production (including RAG, scalability, reliability, and operationalization).
