C++ Backend Developer

Description:

Join us to a small, highly collaborative engineering team working on large, complex codebases that demand performance, correctness, and deep systems thinking. We build performance-critical datapath capabilities where engineering rigor, profiling, and multi-threading expertise directly impact product outcomes.

We seek two C++ Datapath Developers to lead design and development of large-scale, performance-sensitive features. You’ll own delivery end-to-end in an Agile/Scrum environment, working in a mixed onsite/remote model and partnering closely with peers to maintain quality and velocity.

Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and develop large-scale features within a complex C++ codebase.
• Write, optimize, and maintain multi-threaded C++ code for performance-critical datapath applications.
• Own delivery and quality end-to-end: implementation, testing strategy, reviews, and production readiness.
• Profile, troubleshoot, and resolve performance and reliability issues with a systematic approach.
• Collaborate closely within a small team and contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and commitments.
• Improve code maintainability and engineering standards across a large codebase.

• BSc in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• 5–8+ years of strong C++ experience, focused on multi-threaded, performance-critical systems.
• Proven ability to navigate and deliver within large and complex codebases.
• Strong debugging, profiling, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a hybrid team environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with public cloud (AWS/Azure), virtualization, storage systems, networking protocols, and/or Docker.
