Finance Manager

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Finance Manager to join our organization and take a key leadership role within our Finance Department.
This is a hands-on, managerial position with broad responsibility for the organization’s financial operations, while working closely with senior management and key stakeholders across the organization.
The ideal candidate will combine strong financial expertise with excellent people management, communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement, lead change and make a meaningful impact on the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee the organization’s day-to-day financial operations.
Manage and develop the Finance Department and its team members.
Partner with senior management and key stakeholders, providing financial analysis, reports, insights, and recommendations to support informed business decisions.
Analyze financial statements, budgets and business performance, identify trends and risks, and translate financial data into actionable insights.
Oversee collection processes, customer receivables, and revenue tracking, including direct interaction with clients and handling complex cases.
Manage relationships with suppliers, including negotiations, evaluation of proposals, tender processes, onboarding new suppliers, reviewing commercial terms and monitoring costs.
Lead and manage complex interactions with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders, including sensitive situations, conflicts, and challenging business matters.
Identify gaps and inefficiencies in existing financial and organizational processes and lead initiatives to improve, streamline, and implement effective solutions.
Oversee accounting processes, payments, revenues, suppliers, and customer accounts.
Ensure effective financial controls, adherence to procedures and the integrity and accuracy of financial processes.
Act as a key financial partner to the organization, contributing to operational and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Finance Manager in a medium-to-large organization – mandatory.
Proven experience managing employees, leading change, and working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders – mandatory.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive processes without direct authority.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail, organization, and accuracy, alongside a broad organizational perspective.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a dynamic and complex environment.
Proven experience managing supplier relationships, including negotiations, quotations, and tenders.
Experience in collections and direct client management, including handling complex and sensitive cases.
Strong understanding of financial statements and financial data, with the ability to identify trends, risks and business insights.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve financial and organizational processes and implement practical solutions.
Excellent negotiation and conflict-management skills, with the ability to navigate complex interfaces and challenging situations.
Experience in the insurance industry – an advantage.
