A Day in the Life

As a Senior Strategic Accounts Manager, you will play a central role in shaping Medtronic’s impact across the Israeli healthcare landscape, fostering long-term partnerships and driving strategic growth to support our mission is to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing long-term strategies for key hospitals and healthcare institutions across Israel. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, identify new opportunities, and lead complex commercial negotiations to ensure alignment between customer needs and Medtronic’s broad portfolio.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Develop and manage long-term strategic account plans for leading hospitals and healthcare providers
Lead commercial negotiations, including contracts, pricing agreements, and complex business terms
Identify growth opportunities and introduce new Medtronic technologies and solutions to strategic customers
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Service, Finance, and Operations
Lead annual business planning, define KPIs, track performance, and ensure delivery against commercial objectives
Establish and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers — hospital executives, procurement leaders, medical directors, and department heads
Maintain deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements
Lead and support strategic, multi-stakeholder projects both internally and externally
Facilitate implementation of clinical and technological solutions in partnership with hospital leadership.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field
At least 5 years of experience working with senior leadership teams of hospitals and health funds (HMOs) - Must
Extensive experience collaborating with hospital innovation units and venture capital funds- Must
Proven experience in strategic account management in the healthcare or medical devices industry
Strong analytical capabilities with experience creating business plans and analyzing performance data
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Fluency in Hebrew and high-level proficiency in English
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities; willingness to travel frequently across Israel.
