Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic and growing software development team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex software solutions, mentor junior engineers, and help shape our technical strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that address business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

Software Design and Architecture

Drive the architectural design of new features and systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Development and Implementation

Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices and coding standards.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
Implement and maintain automated testing (unit, integration, and performance tests) to ensure robust deliverables.

Technical Leadership and Mentorship

Provide guidance to junior and mid-level engineers, supporting their professional growth.
Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions on design patterns, new tools, and technologies.
Assist in the planning and breakdown of complex tasks to ensure project feasibility and timely delivery.

Continuous Improvement

Identify bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues, and work to resolve them proactively.
Advocate for improvements in software engineering processes and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, version control strategies, documentation).
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively recommending improvements to current technology stack and processes.

Collaboration and Communication

Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Design) to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Communicate progress, challenges, and timelines to stakeholders and leadership.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
5-8+ years of professional software development experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

Technical Skills

Expert proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go).
Strong understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices.
Experience with frameworks, libraries, and tooling relevant to your tech stack (e.g., Spring for Java, Django/Flask for Python, React/Angular/Vue for front-end).
Comfortable working with databases (SQL or NoSQL) and designing efficient data models.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in Git-based version control and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
