• Design and develop algorithms for vehicle localization, mapping, and navigation (local/global planners, map management, sensor fusion, etc.)
• Take projects end-to-end, from early prototypes (Python, MATLAB, Jupyter) to robust, field-ready C++ implementation
• Read and apply state-of-the-art robotics and navigation algorithms from academic literature
• Implement and validate path planning, motion logic, and safe navigation in real field environments.
• Leverage AI-powered coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) to improve productivity and code quality
• Collaborate closely with Perception, AI, and Hardware teams for a true full-stack autonomy solution
דרישות התפקיד
• BSc/MSc in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong background in robotics and navigation theory, with hands-on algorithm development and analysis experience.
• 5+ Experience prototyping algorithms (Python, MATLAB, etc.).
• Practical C++ development experience for robotics.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 (or similar robotics frameworks).
• Eager to test, debug, and optimize code in real-world environments.
Nice to Have :)
• 2+ years working with ROS/ROS2 (C++) in deployed robotic systems
• Built or launched more than one robotic system from scratch
