Bookkeeper and Payroll Controller
Position Overview
We are seeking for an experienced and highly responsible Bookkeeper and Payroll Controller to
take complete ownership of our finance and payroll operations.
This is a strategic role requiring someone who understands the full scope of financial responsibility
and can independently manage all accounting and payroll functions from end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
* Manage complete payroll operations for approximately 20 employees using Michpal payroll
system
* Coordinate with pension fund administrators.
* Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, deductions and taxes.
Bookkeeping
Execute full-cycle bookkeeping:
* Process expense and income invoices
* Account reconciliations (bank, credit cards, vendors etc)
* Maintain accounting schedules including accruals, payroll entries, depreciation prepaid
expenses etc during month end and tear end closing.
* Statutory filings including VAT returns, withholding tax, and social security
* Identify automation opportunities and process improvements

Required Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in similar bookkeeper and payroll controller role
* Michpal payroll system experience - nice to have
* High-level English proficiency (written and spoken)
* Background working with revenue-generating companies (not expense-only organizations)
* Priority ERP experience - significant advantage
* Advanced attention to detail and accuracy
* Experience in small to medium-sized companies with hands-on finance operations
* Previous role in companies where finance professionals handle diverse responsibilities
* Independent and self-directed - able to work autonomously without constant supervision
* Proactive and initiative-taking - identifies issues and implements solutions
* Organized and methodical approach to work processes
* Strong sense of ownership and understanding of role's critical importance
Position Details
