Senior Algorithm Scientist & Team Lead

Design, develop, and optimize algorithms for ophthalmic imaging systems in line with product
requirements and technical specifications.
• Lead and mentor a team of algorithm developers, ensuring efficient project execution and
fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
• Develop algorithms for motion correction, artifact reduction, segmentation, analysis, and
visualization of medical imaging data.
• Verify algorithm performance, ensuring compliance with the company’s product development
standards and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and implement new features in prototype/product software, based on marketing and
clinical research inputs.
• Manage team workload, assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality
solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, clinical, and scientific teams, to
resolve algorithm-related challenges and integrate solutions across product lines.
• Develop and protect intellectual property related to new algorithms and innovative features.
• Provide technical leadership, drive the strategic direction of algorithm development, and
ensure the team meets key objectives and milestones

;M.Sc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in industry or academia developing algorithms for image processing,
analysis, deep learning , and related applications.
• Expertise in C++ programming and familiarity with IPP/OpenCV libraries.
• Proficiency in developing multi-threaded applications.
• Extensive experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of medical image analysis, particularly in ophthalmology.
• Strong knowledge of algorithm optimization, high-performance computing, and statistical
analysis.
• Familiarity with software development processes for medical devices.
• Proven leadership experience, including managing and mentoring a team of engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a technical
team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines effectively in a fast-paced environment
