VP of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

A publicly traded investment firm listed on NASDAQ, specializing in investments in defense companies, is seeking a Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) to lead strategic transactions in Israel and abroad.
Job Description:
An exciting opportunity to lead strategic deals in a dynamic, global company. This role is responsible for managing M&A transactions end-to-end — from initial opportunity to deal closure — while coordinating multiple internal and external interfaces.
Responsibilities:
• Receiving and evaluating new deal leads
• Conducting initial in-person meetings with potential target companies
• Defining deal metrics: valuation, financial indicators, investment potential
• Managing due diligence teams (business, legal, financial)
• Coordinating external consultants (CPA, legal) through deal completion
• Leading negotiations and closing deals
• Providing daily reports on deal status, including transaction details, due diligence phases, drafts, and auditor updates
• Managing deal timelines using Trello or a similar platform

• Ability to manage internal teams and external partners
• Comprehensive understanding of all deal stages: meetings, negotiations, LOIs, due diligence, final agreements
• Strong understanding of capital markets; familiarity with the defense industry – an advantage
• Strategic thinking and the ability to build business clusters through combining multiple companies
Additional Requirements:
• Availability to work on-site 4 days a week, 9:00–18:00
• Participation in a daily team meeting for transaction status updates
