Requirements:

5+ years of IT infrastructure leadership roles within global organizations.
Proven track record managing both operational IT (helpdesk, system admins) and strategic initiatives (global rollouts, infrastructure transformation).
Strong knowledge of security frameworks and best practices in infrastructure environments.
Excellent decision-making skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and strong project management capabilities.
Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced and visionary leader to oversee Gilat’s global IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability across all systems, platforms, and devices. This role combines strategic leadership with technical knowledge of complex global operations.

What you will do:

Lead global infrastructure operations including servers, networks, end-user computing, and data center/cloud environments.
Ensure system security, compliance with global security standards, patching, monitoring, and incident response readiness.
Drive innovation by introducing new technologies, setting up pilots and labs, and leading infrastructure upgrades and rollouts worldwide.
Oversee IT service delivery, managing Helpdesk and System teams, ensuring high responsiveness and a customer-first mindset across the organization.
Manage vendor relationships, procurement, licensing, hardware/software lifecycle (EOL), and infrastructure budgets.
Provide global leadership in critical events, ensuring business continuity and clear communication with executives and stakeholders.
