Cognyte is looking for a highly qualified Legal Counsel to join the company’s Legal Department, to provide legal consultation and assistance to certain assigned business units.

As a Cognyter you will:

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and other contracts with external parties: customers, partners, suppliers, etc.
• Provide legal guidance and assistance, as required by the business.
• Keep up to date about legislative and other changes and advise the business as appropriate.
• Handle various tasks assigned by the direct manager.

For that mission you’ll need:

• At least 5 years of commercial law experience, including working at a large/medium size law firm or in-house, preferably at a High Tech company
• Ability to draft, negotiate and close various commercial agreements
• Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines
• Ability to work in a multi stakeholder global organization
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, team player
• Business-oriented
• Self-driven and highly motivated to contribute to the success of the company
• English at mother tongue level
