About the opportunity:

We are looking for a Technical Writer with 3+ years of experience in writing professional-level content, API documentation and user guides in perfect English. You should be comfortable with technology, have a basic understanding of programming and you know the basics of API design. You’re familiar with developer tools and you feel comfortable interacting with developers and architects. In addition, you can communicate complex concepts to a non-technical audience.

What you will do:

• Write highly-technical and user-friendly content.
• Document our own APIs and SDK in order to grow our business through embedded experiences across our partner network.
• Prepare user-friendly manuals and tutorials.
• Maintain and update product-related documents.
• Manage and maintain a knowledge base, while learning Product terminologies and technical terms.
• Create and maintain flowcharts and diagrams.
• Work closely with the R&D, UX, and content teams to turn business needs into powerful documentation that supports our users.
• Collaborate with Customer Success to identify customer needs and develop customer-facing content.
• Provide feedback to developers to ensure cross-platform API consistency.
• Clearly communicate an API’s business case.
• Work independently and proactively with multiple stakeholders.
• Write and maintain documentation so that partners can create payment solutions that feel more natural within their digital experiences.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working as a technical writer for software/SaaS products.
• You are relentlessly user-focused.
• Tech-savvy and able to understand technical concepts.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills. Native proficiency is a must
• Ability to break down and guide through a technical process.
• Transparency, accountability, and ability to work independently.
• 2+ years of experience writing API & SDK documentation.
• Ability to write to different sets of audiences (Designer, Administrators, Consumers, etc).
• Nice to have: A portfolio of at least 5 pieces of your work that showcase your talent.
