Job description:

Our team provides services to Ariel University international staff and students, and local residents who wish to engage in international activity. Your main role will be to provide front-line support to prospective and current visitors and students ensuring they have the most up-to-date and essential advice regarding their stay at Ariel University, primarily regarding Visas, insurance, and University services. You will be assisting newcomers with their first steps in Israel and provide general advice and guidance. In addition, you will monitor their regulatory status in Israel and assist them with technical issues. You will also assist locals with outbound mobility.

Main Responsibilities:

Guide international students and visitors in the Visa application process.
Secure dormitories and additional services, coordinate their arrival on campus.
Provide day-to-day advisory and organization services for international academic visitors.
Review and revise external information and guidance related to visas and arrivals to ensure students are provided with correct information.
Liaise with the various authorities (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Interior Affairs, CHE) regarding visa policies for international students and researchers.
Assist in formulating institutional guidelines and procedures related to international visitors.
Manage international visitor related information, prepare statistical reports.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring an efficient first-class service is extended to all stakeholders.
Assist Israeli faculty and students in arranging outbound mobility processes.
Monitor mobility related financial support requests and scholarships.

Bachelor’s degree.
Experience providing a high level of customer service to students, and experience supporting them with complex issues (an advantage).
Excellent spoken and written English and Hebrew, communication skills and the ability to break down technical issues and explain them in layman’s terms.
A car and a driver's license.
Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
