Senior QA

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA engineer to join our team and lead the testing efforts for our product development. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, extensive experience in manual and automated testing, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in the quality assurance process. This role will require manual testing (60%) and hands-on involvement in the development of automation frameworks (40%).

Responsibilities:
Manual Testing:
• Review and analyze requirements and design documentation to create test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Oversee and participate in manual testing for new features, UI, critical and complex areas where automation is not yet feasible.
Quality Strategy & Process Improvement:
• Define and implement test strategies that align with development goals and ensure high-quality releases.
• Develop and execute test plans that assess the overall product quality and identify defects early in the development lifecycle.
• Continuously review and improve testing processes, methodologies, and best practices to keep up with industry trends.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, UX/UI designers) to ensure alignment of testing efforts with product goals.
• Participate in sprint planning and work closely with the development team to meet release deadlines.
• Work closely with customers and stakeholders to support and gather feedback.
Test Automation Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test in JAVA to ensure comprehensive test coverage for new and existing features.
• Continuously evaluate and improve automation strategies to increase efficiency and reduce manual testing effort.

o Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA with at least 2 years in a senior QA role.
o Proven experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.
o Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
o Experience with server client and Big data system (advantage working with MongoDB and Elasticsearch).
o Experience with a variety of test automation tools and test frameworks, working with JIRA, is a advantage.
• Skills:
o Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for developing automation tests.
o Hands-on experience with performance and load testing.
o System view and Big-Picture thinking.
o Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and test management tools - optional.
