Senior Full Stack Developer - SMART Platform

We are a global HR-Tech company, focusing in talent assessment solutions. We are now seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team working on the SMART platform modernization initiative. This is a hands-on development role focused on implementing modern architectural patterns and best practices while working closely with our architecture team and manages a growing development team.
Position Overview
As a Senior Full Stack Developer on the SMART platform team, you will focus on implementing complex features and architectural improvements across our technology stack. You'll work collaboratively with our architects and product team.
You will lead the development team to transform our platform from a monolithic to a microservices-based architecture while maintaining and improving existing functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Development Responsibilities (70-80% of time)
- Implement complex features across frontend and backend components
- Work with architects to implement microservices patterns and best practices
- Develop and optimize API gateway implementations
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Debug and solve complex technical challenges
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Implement security best practices and improvements
- Optimize application performance and scalability
Tech Lead (20-30% of time)
- Participate in architectural design discussions
- Contribute to technical documentation
- Mentor and manage junior developers through pair programming and code reviews
- Share knowledge and best practices with the team
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical planning
- Collaborate with DevOps team on deployment and infrastructure improvements
- Collaborate with product team and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 3+ years of experience with Angular and NestJS
- Strong background in microservices architecture
- Experience with distributed systems
- Proven track record of implementing complex technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with similar enterprise-scale applications
- Knowledge of domain-driven design
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Contributions to open source projects
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
