R&D Manager

BMC Software – Tel Aviv is looking for a Software Development Manager passionate about technology and leading high-performing engineering teams. This is a unique opportunity to drive the development of an innovative product from scratch as part of the BMC AMI Cloud portfolio.

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and building a complex hybrid cloud solution, utilizing advanced methodologies for high-performance storage and backup systems. Lead and manage a team of skilled engineers, driving innovation and excellence.

Collaborate across teams—work closely with QA, DevOps, IT, Support, and Product Management to ensure seamless execution.

4+ years of experience in directly managing Agile software development teams.
7+ years of experience in enterprise software development.
Proven experience in hiring, mentoring, and task management.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps technologies.
Deep understanding of the importance of highly automated QA environments.
Hands-on project management skills and experience.
Ability to manage and optimize complex CI/CD processes.
Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Adaptability and enthusiasm for adopting modern technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).

B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field
