Head of Breeding

We are seeking an experienced Head of Breeding to lead advanced breeding programs.

This role requires strong leadership, scientific expertise, and a commercially-driven mindset to drive innovation and align breeding efforts with market needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute breeding strategies.
Lead research initiatives, experimental lab and field trials and data-driven selection processes.
Manage and mentor a team of breeders and technical staff.
Work cross-functionally with R&D, commercial, and production teams.
Oversee budget planning, progress tracking, and reporting.

PhD in Plant Breeding or Plant Genetics - MUST.
Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial breeding programs, with F1 hybrid seeds experience required.
Proven experience in team management, project leadership, and strategic planning.
High level of English (written and spoken) is required.
Expertise in molecular breeding techniques (preferred).
